This Privacy Policy applies to a Site Search Service called Findkit, web service Findkit.com and Findkit’s marketing data (“Service, Findkit”). Findkit is owned and operated by Valu Digital Oy (business id: FI10974108) and Findkit is a supplementary firm name of Valu Digital Oy.
In this document we describe how we process the personal data of our customers, website visitors and users as well as the representatives of our customers and users (“Customers”).
We reserve the right to update this document at any time if required by the changes in data processing practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page, and if the changes are significant, we will notify you by email.
Processed data and sources of data
The Service collects Customer (Personal) data, Customer-Submitted Personal Data and Analytics data.
Personal data
Customer data collected and processed in the Findkit Hub:
- Name
- Phone number
- Organisation
- Billing information. Credit card data is stored at third-party service.
- Data about the use of the Service
- Data about the Customer’s orders
Customer data may also be collected from service providers or public registers.
We collect and process personal data in order to be able to offer and maintain the Service to our customers and for developing it further. Personal data is also necessary for accessing some essential parts of the Service.
Personal data is also used for the purpose of contacting Customers regarding our Service.
The data will be stored both within and outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We or other service providers may transfer information outside the EEA.
The data will not be shared to any third party outside Findkit unless the use of the data is necessary:
- To Perform the Service
- For legal reasons
- For our authorized service providers performing service to Findkit
- To protect the interests, properties or safety of Findkit, our Customers or the public in accordance with the law
- To detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues
The Customer Data relating to your use of the Service will be deleted within reasonable time after you no longer use the Services.
Customer-Submitted Personal Data
For customer-submitted personal data we act as a data processor and that the customers are the data controllers in this context
While using our search engine service and Findkit Hub, you may submit or provide personal data of other individuals (e.g., but not limited to: when sharing search results or inviting others to join the platform). It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the necessary consent or authorization from these individuals before submitting their personal data to our service.
We will process such personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, but we cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized submission of personal data or the consequences thereof. If you become aware of any unauthorized submission of personal data, please contact us immediately at sales@findkit.com, and we will forward the enquiry to the responsible customer.
Analytics
The Service may collect Analytics data using the following Analytics tools:

- Matomo
We use Analytics to improve the Service.
Cookies
We use cookies to identify visitors and their preferences and to better understand and serve them. Visitors may choose to refuse cookies. However, some parts of the Service may not function properly if cookies are refused.
Information security
We use administrative, organizational, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal data we collect and process. Measures include for example, where appropriate, encryption, firewalls, secure facilities and access right systems. Our security controls are designed to maintain an appropriate level of data confidentiality, integrity, availability, resilience and ability to restore the data. We regularly test our Services, systems, and other assets for security vulnerabilities.
Despite the security measures, should a security breach occur that is likely to have negative effects to the privacy of Customers, we will inform the relevant Customers and other affected parties, as well as relevant authorities when required by applicable data protection laws, about the breach as soon as possible.
Customer’s rights
As a Customer you have the:
- Right to access your personal data processed by Findkit
- Right to withdraw consent anytime (may block some parts of the Service)
- Right to rectify your personal data
- Right to erasure of your personal data
- Right to restriction of processing your personal data
- Right to data portability
The above mentioned rights may be used by sending an e-mail to us including the following information: the full name, company name, address, e-mail address and a phone number. We may request the provision of additional information necessary to confirm the identity of the Customer. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, excessive or manifestly unfounded.
As a Customer you have the right to prohibit us from using your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
